Acturis automation tools for insurance brokers.
Acturis is where the placement gets recorded — but the work around it is still manual: reading broker documents line by line, re-keying the data into the right screens, and preparing the pack that sits behind the record. PolicyTools.app automates that work around Acturis, starting with an automated data entry assistant we are building now.
What we are building for Acturis users
The Acturis Entry Copilot is in development now. It automates the reading and the typing, without ever taking the decisions away from you.
Automated document reading
Risk schedules, quotations, renewal invitations, statements of fact and proposal forms are read into a structured list of fields — client and risk details, sums insured, excesses, cover periods and endorsements — whether the document is a PDF, Word file, spreadsheet or a photo of a scan.
Automated typing into Acturis
A small browser helper, running inside the Acturis session you have already signed into, types the fields you have checked onto the screen in front of you. It never saves, submits or binds anything — you review the screen and you press save.
Automated checks before anything moves
Every extracted value sits next to where it came from in the original document. Anything the computer could not read with confidence is flagged, and anything that clashes with what is already typed is stopped and shown to you.
Automated record keeping
Every upload, correction and typed field is logged against your account, so you can see exactly what was read, what changed and who checked it — without lifting a finger to write it down.

Acturis Entry CopilotAutomate the rest of the broker workflow today
While the Acturis data entry assistant is in development, the tools below are live in every subscription — and every one of them feeds the work you record in Acturis.
Policy wording comparison
Compare policy wordings, endorsements and clause changes side by side before you present terms — the reading that currently sits between the quote and the Acturis record.
Companies House and sanctions checks
Client due diligence pulled together in one place, ready to attach to the Acturis file without switching between half a dozen websites.
Demands and needs statements
Structured statements generated from the cover you have arranged, consistent across every client and defensible at renewal.
Submission packs and claims notification packs
Assembled documents built from the risk data you already hold, formatted and ready to send — no more rebuilding the same pack from scratch.
Why automate around Acturis, not instead of it
We are not trying to replace your broker management system. Acturis stays the system of record — we automate the manual work that surrounds it: the reading, the re-keying, the document assembly and the checks. That means no migration, no new system to learn, and no change to how your files are structured. The automation fits into the Acturis session you already have open, and you stay in control of every save.
Everything is designed to work alongside your existing Acturis workflow: upload the document, check what was read, and let the helper type what you approved. If you close the browser window, nothing has been changed in Acturis — because the helper only ever types, and you are the one who presses save.
Pricing
The live tools are available today at £60 per user per month with a 14-day trial and no card required. The Acturis data entry assistant will be included in the same subscription when it ships — no separate charge.
